We’re ecstatic to announce that we’ve closed our Series A, led by New Enterprise Associates (NEA). When we started TrackMaven at the end of 2012, we committed to making marketing data actionable. Since then we launched our platform, gained some of the world’s biggest brands as customers, added innovative new features, but most importantly we found customers who we can count as friends.
One of those customers has been NEA, who in addition to being one of the biggest venture funds in the world, shares our passion for marketing, both in their own marketing and in their investments. When we started raising our Series A, we quickly realized that they were the right fit. It’s rare to find a fund that not only understands your business so well, but literally understands it from a customer’s point of view.
The round totals $6.5 million dollars. It’s a big number, but we’re taking on a big mission. We’ll be investing in product development, dedicating ourselves to building the most powerful platform to help digital marketers understand their market and beat their competitors.
We know that we couldn’t have come this far without our friends, family, investors, advisors, board of directors, corgis, and most importantly — our customers. We know that it takes a village and are thankful every day for all the help we are given.
Below is the full press release. But if you want the short version…
We’re feeling like this:
Because we get to help our customers do this to their competitors:
