Ever feel like your organic Facebook content has the same reach as this guy?
Recent changes to the News Feed Algorithm may be keeping you a bit short of your goal, so this Friday we’re bringing you some tips on how to increase your Facebook reach and engagement!
Post Frequently. A Wisemetric study found that one of the most effective ways to increase your reach is to simply post and post again! The study found that content posted a second time will only have a 30% overlap with the reach of the first post – so on average, 70% of viewers will not have seen it the first time.
Ask questions. Increase engagement by prompting fans to respond to your posts! The Marketing Maven’s Guide to Facebook, released earlier this week, reports that posts asking a question receive 23% more engagement than posts that do not.
Reference pop culture and daily events. We can always learn from other brands that successfully rack up Facebook shares. For example, Oreo’s most successful Facebook campaign posted daily news, twisting it to include some Oreo-related play on words. World Cup references, anyone??
Always remember that openness, authenticity, access, and positivity are the most important characteristics you can incorporate into your posts to increase engagement!
