With TrackMaven’s recent release of Social Insights, we are now able to quickly determine which days and times are the most effective for publishing on a channel. After spending your time, energy, and resources creating content for an audience, the last piece of the puzzle is sharing it at an ideal time. We wouldn’t want any of that work to go to waste or be missed by our followers! I wanted to share the best time to post on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, and YouTube for brands in the food and beverage industry.
Best time to post on Facebook
Food and beverage brands saw the highest impact when publishing on Tuesdays at 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. EST.
Best time to post on Instagram
Counting 2 a.m. to 3 a.m. EST as an outlier, the most impactful time to publish on Instagram is 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. EST, followed by 12 a.m. to 1 a.m. EST and 10 p.m. to 11 p.m. EST. In terms of best day to publish, nearly every day has a similar level of engagement, with Thursday being slightly more impactful than the rest.
Best time to post on Twitter
Following 3 a.m. to 4 a.m. EST (note that a very small number of tweets were published during this time, relative to others!), the most impactful time and day to tweet is 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. EST on Monday.
Best time to post on Pinterest
Excluding the early morning outliers, the most effective time to pin on Pinterest is 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. EST and Thursdays (followed closely by Monday and Sunday). Interestingly enough, Friday is the least effective day to pin.
Best time to post on LinkedIn
The most effective time to publish on LinkedIn for this industry is 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. EST. In terms of the best day to post, Sunday comes to the top, followed by Friday.
Best time to post on YouTube
Lastly, Food and Beverage Brands saw the most success publishing to YouTube 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. EST on Tuesdays!
