The impact score is a metric unique to TrackMaven. It is a measure of relative performance for a single piece of content on a 30-day rolling average. It tells you if a piece of content performed at, above, or below average for the publishing brand.
For every piece of content collected, TrackMaven calculates an impact score and displays in the top right corner of each feed item. Impact score is calculated by summing the public interactions received (for example, reactions, comments, and shares on Facebook) across all channels with public interaction data and comparing that sum to the publishing brand's average number of public interactions per post of that type (for example, Facebook post) at the time of publication.
- Impact score < 1.00 = below average performance
- Impact score at 1.00 = average performance
- Impact score > 1.00 = above average performance
For example, if the impact score on an item is 4.70x, it means that the post received 4.70 times as many reactions, comments, and shares as the average performance for the brand over the past 30 days.
In addition to seeing impact score in your feed in Content & Campaigns, you can create reports on Impact Score per Post.
