When TrackMaven data does not match Google Analytics

The TrackMaven connection to Google Analytics is the source of all attribution metrics visible through Content & Campaigns. This integration allows you to connect one Google Analytics view (or reporting view) for each property (usually, a domain) connected to TrackMaven.

If your data in TrackMaven does not match what you see in Google Analytics, the source of the issue is most likely that the incorrect Google Analytics view is connected to TrackMaven.

Checking your Google Analytics connection

1. Select Integrations Settings from the User menu at the top right corner of any page.
2. Review the domains and views connected to your account.  

Verifying your data parameters

• Do the metrics you are evaluating in TrackMaven correspond to the Google Analytics metrics?
• Are you using the same timeframes in TrackMaven and Google Analytics tools?

If, in reviewing your views, metrics, and timeframes in Google Analytics and TrackMaven, the cause of the mismatch is not identified, contact support@trackmaven.com.
